Beyond the long shore of La Cinta, south of the coast stretch facing the village of San Teodoro and the beach of Cala d'Ambra, the peninsula of Punta Isuledda juts out into the Tyrrhenian sea. It offers the white beach Isuledda, one of the nicest in this area, laced with a dense hedge of sweet-smelling cistus, age-old junipers and prickly brooms. It has as inland border a small impermanent pond, where the water is present, creating a nice panoramic effect, from the autumn until the beginning of the summer season.
The deep green colour of the sea, the fairly good extension of the beach and its soft candour, the curious pond and the beautiful blooms in the inland area make this place one of the most covetted by the people frequenting this stretch of coast. To these outstanding features Isuledda adds a panorama of uncommon vastness and fascination.
From the green hills of Costa Caddu, a little further southwards, the eye takes in the plain of San Teodoro, a part of the village, the long shore of La Cinta, the promontory of Punt’Aldia and, in the distance, Capo Coda Cavallo, dominated by the island of Molara and even more so by the unmistakable, majestic outline of Tavolara.
